Hello sweet world,

I’m Jordana. I’m 18 years young & in love with the kitchen.

Welcome to the little space I’m proud to call my own.

I bake because I can’t help it. Because it’s the only thing I’ve ever been sure of. I bake because I’m in love with the kitchen, and I want nothing more than to share my love with you.

Once upon a time, tweenage me unwrapped a red KitchenAid mixer on Christmas morning. The rest was history. Happily ever after. The End Beginning.

This is my love story. My journey through the realm of culinary mishaps, triumphs, lessons, and delights. Let’s take a tremendously sweet adventure together. Welcome to Flour Child.

*PS, Flour Child’s header was made by the seriously awesome Patrice Bedard, check her out!

I knew from the moment I stumbled upon “Flour Child” (love the name, by the way) that I would be subscribing to it… but as a trained pastry chef, I was stunned (not to mention impressed) to read that this beautifully written and photographed blog has all been orchestrated by such a young woman (and her ridiculously talented brother). The passion with which you write is inspirational and I wish you the best of luck in your culinary adventures!
